Kristin Sommerfeldt, Au.D. joined Champlain Valley Audiology in 2023.  Dr. Sommerfeldt received her doctorate in audiology from the University of Florida in 2005. She is also an alumnus of the University of Colorado SLHS department and most recently served as an Assistant Clinical Professor there. Dr. Sommerfeldt became an audiologist because of her passion to improve the quality of life for those around her. Her professional interests include international audiology and hearing aids.

Dr. Sommerfeldt enjoys learning languages and experiencing different cultures and is involved in various philanthropic organizations throughout the world including Russian, China, Thailand and Mexico. She is a native of Colorado and lives with her husband and three beautiful children as a new resident of upstate New York.
